While the Pixel 5 obviously ships with Android 11 out of the box and the OnePlus 8 Pro quickly received its Android 11 update, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is still waiting for One UI 3.0 to make it
TheS20+ is only slightly smaller, but saves you money. If you want the fastest phone, I would honestly go OnePlus, and if you're worried about screen, the OnePlus 8 pro measures at 6.8 inches, same as Note 10+, in comparison, the 11 Pro Max is 6.5 inches. Reception would depend on carrier honestly, as you would just need to get the device

Fast Money. No matter which side you’re on, there’s no denying that the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the Galaxy Note 10+ are amazing. With giant screens, cutting-edge cameras, and gorgeous designs, they just might be the best phones ever made, and they’ve got sky-high price tags to match. So before you plunk down four figures for the pleasure of owning one, you should know which one is right for you. We’ve broken it down feature by feature below. It’s been only two years since Apple unveiled the iPhone X to much fanfare, dumping the home button and ushering in a whole new design language for the iPhone. It’s not bad that Apple has decided to stick with it for another year, and the 11 Pro offers some fresh ideas like its square camera array and single-glass construction. But after a slew of notched copycats, the language is already starting to feel a little stale. Samsung, on the other hand, has introduced a stunning new design with the Galaxy Note 10+. The top and bottom bezels have been slimmed dramatically, to the point where the camera won’t even fit. So now there’s a small hole in the top of the screen which looks a lot better than it sounds, and the whole package is actually as compact as the Note 9, despite having nearly a half-inch more screen. Winner Galaxy Note 10+ Daniel Masaoka/IDG The “hole-punch” selfie cam is much less jarring than the iPhone 11 Pro Max’s notch. iPhone 11 Pro Max vs Galaxy Note 10+ Size If you like big phones, you’ll love either of these handsets. With a screen on the iPhone 11 Pro Max and a display on the Note 10+, neither is very conducive to one-handed operation iPhone 11 Pro Max x 158 x Galaxy Note 10+ x x While they look extremely similar on paper, however, the iPhone 11 Pro Max is a bit easier to hold. The 5mm reduction in height, as well as its “flat” design, stands in surprising contrast to the Note 10+’s infinity screen and ultra-tall body. Winner iPhone 11 Pro Max iPhone 11 Pro Max vs Galaxy Note 10+ Display This one’s as close to a toss-up as you’re going to get. Because Samsung is supplying the display for both the Note 10+ and the iPhone, you’d need a microscope to see any difference between them. But Samsung does a better job of going beyond the pixels with the Note 10+. Not only do you get precise control over the color temperature, you can also adjust the resolution from Quad HD to Full HD. With Apple, what you see is what you get—but to be fair, the calibration is usually pretty perfect. Winner Tie Apple Graphics and speed are unsurpassed on the iPhone 11 Pro Max, with its A13 Bionic processor. iPhone 11 Pro Max vs Galaxy Note 10+ Performance Both phones offer extremely fast and powerful processors. The Galaxy Note 10+ brings the Snapdragon 855, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max is powered by the brand-new A13 Bionic. Both processors are built using a 7nm process for extreme power efficiency, and they both have a neural engine on board for AI-related tasks. As far as speeds go, Apple didn’t divulge how much faster the A13 is, other than to say it’s “the fastest CPU and GPU in a smartphone.” Considering the A12 Bionic outpaced the Snapdragon 855, that’s believable, but speed certainly won’t be an issue with either of these phones. Winner iPhone 11 Pro Max on paper iPhone 11 Pro Max vs Galaxy Note 10+ Cameras Here’s where things start to get interesting. Both phones feature three main cameras, with the Note 10+ adding a fourth time-of-flight sensor for depth perception. iPhone 11 Pro Max Camera 1 12MP wide, f/ OIS Camera 2 12MP telephoto, f/ OIS, 2x optical zoom Camera 3 12MP ultra wide, f/ 120-degree FOV Galaxy Note 10+ Camera 1 16MP ultra wide, f/ Camera 2 12MP Wide, f/ Camera 3 12MP Telephoto, f/ Jason Snell The iPhone 11 Pro Max’s new triple-camera array brings an ultra-wide-angle lens to the party. While the camera array is similar on each phone, the way they work isn’t. Apple puts greater emphasis on its ultra-wide lens, snapping simultaneous photos with it and the wide lens so you can choose your favorite. There’s also a new night mode on both phones, which wasn’t so successful in our testing of the Note 10+, and some fancy HDR processing. We’ll have to wait until we can properly test the iPhone 11 to declare a winner, but you can bet that both phones will take great pics. Winner TBD iPhone 11 Pro Max vs Galaxy Note 10+ Battery/Charging You’ll be able to fast-charge both phones using the supplied power adapter, but the Note 10+ has a trick up its sleeve that the iPhone 11 Pro doesn’t 45W Superfast charging. With a compatible charger, you can charge your Note faster than any other phone you can buy. That probably won’t mean much in your day-to-day charging patterns, but if you’re pressed for time and need to grab as much juice as possible, the Note 10+’s charging capabilities will be a life-saver. Another difference between the phones is wireless. Or rather, reverse wireless charging. While you can pop either phone on a Qi charger to fill it up, only the Note 10+ can double as its own charging pad. That’s good for charging Galaxy Buds or your buddy’s iPhone 11 Pro Max. Or not–that’s up to you. Winner Galaxy Note 10+ iPhone 11 Pro Max vs Galaxy Note 10+ Stylus The Note 10’s reason for being has basically always been the on-board S Pen, and the Note 10+ drives that point home. Not only does the S Pen take notes on the screen, you can also use it to draw in the air thanks to AR Doodles, and use it as a remote for the camera, music player, and other apps. On the other hand, rumors that the iPhone 11 Pro Max would get Apple Pencil support turned out to be false—you still need to use your fingers to do everything. Winner Galaxy Note 10+ Daniel Masaoka/IDG The Galaxy Note 10+’s stylus is what gives the Note its identity. iPhone 11 Pro Max vs Galaxy Note 10+ Sound For years, Samsung lorded its headphone jack over dongle-using iPhone users, but that advantage is no more. The Note 10+ has banished the headphone jack and, like the iPhone 11 Pro Max, it doesn’t even come with an adapter in the box. It does offer a pair of decent USB-C headphones. There’s no visible speaker at the top of the Note 10+, but it does provide Dolby Atmos stereo sound by using the display as a sound driver. The iPhone 11 Pro Max also supports Dolby Atmos, but with a more conventional and visible speaker inside the notch. Additionally, you get spatial surround sound with the iPhone 11 Pro Max that mimics 360-degree sound. All in all, it’s very close, no matter how or what you’re listening to. Winner Tie iPhone 11 Pro Max vs Galaxy Note 10+ Biometrics Like the XS that came before it, the iPhone 11 Pro Max uses Face ID as its only biometric security feature. Samsung is sticking with the fingerprint sensor, though it’s been moved from the back of the device to the front, inside the display. While I had far fewer issues with it on the Note 10+ than I did with the Galaxy S10+, it’s still not ideal and pales in comparison to 3D facial recognition. Winner iPhone 11 Pro Max Daniel Masaoka/IDG There’s no denying the super-cool Aura Glow color on the Note 10+. iPhone 11 Pro Max vs Galaxy Note 10+ Colors Each phone comes in a selection of four colors. The iPhone 11 Pro is available in Space Gray, Silver, Gold, and a new dark green called Midnight Green. The Note 10+ has Aura Black, Aura White, Aura Blue, and a new Aura Glow whose color changes based on how the light shines on it. We know you’ll probably put a case on whichever one you buy anyway we’ve already picked some of the best Note 10/Note 10+ cases available, but we can’t stop looking at our Note 10+. Winner Galaxy Note 10+ iPhone 11 Pro Max vs Galaxy Note 10+ Conclusion While both of these phones are very expensive, you can be assured that you’re getting the best of the best each platform has to offer. Based on the list here, the Note 10+ edges out the iPhone 11 Pro Max on the strength of its features though I really miss the headphone jack, but it’s hard to argue with either choice. If someone handed me $1,100 and made me choose between them, I’d probably pick the iPhone 11 Pro Max on the strength of the camera. Without testing it yet, it’s hard to say for sure. But Apple’s track record gets the nod.

Even though it's a bit dated at this point, the iPhone’s design certainly has a lot of fans, and we like the new Midnight Green color Apple added to the roster although it is barely distinguishable from Space Gray underneath most light. Of course, the biggest difference with the iPhone 11 Pro’s design comes courtesy of its triple-lens cameras — each of which protrudes out of a larger, sculpted square base. It doesn’t look quite as awful as we feared it might from leaked renders, though the camera bump stick out like a sore thumb compared to the Note 10’s more streamlined Galaxy Note 10+iPhone 11 Pro vs. Galaxy Note 10 DisplayNo matter which phone you choose, you’re getting an HDR-certified, OLED display that can get extremely bright. In fact, Apple says the iPhone 11 Pro’s Super Retina XDR panel can achieve 800 nits under outdoor use, and 1,200 nits in extreme sunlight, when showing HDR didn't quite reach 800 nits, though we did see 752 nits in testing. Until now, our leader for brightness among OLED displays was the Galaxy Note 10 Plus, which achieved 686 nits under our light Galaxy Note 10 Image credit FutureIn terms of resolution, the iPhone narrowly has the Note beat, with 2436 x 1125 pixels to Samsung’s 2280 x 1080. Couple that with the iPhone’s smaller display size, and Apple’s flagship boasts 458 pixels per inch — 57 more than the Galaxy iPhone 11's Super Retina XDR panel proved remarkably accurate and colorful, even compared to the Note 10’s already impressive Dynamic AMOLED screen. Meanwhile, the iPhone delivered 117% and iPhone 11 ProiPhone 11 Pro vs. Galaxy Note 10 Camera and videoiPhone 11 Pro Image credit Tom's GuideHere’s one area that will make or break the iPhone 11 Pro in any comparison. Apple has packed a trio of 12-megapixel cameras into its 2019 flagship — one of which is a telephoto capable of 2x optical zoom, and another that is tied to a 120-degree ultra-wide lens that can pull out to zoom. The front-facing camera has also seen an upgrade as well, up from an 7-MP sensor in the iPhone XS to a new 12-MP one capable of slow motion Galaxy Note 10 also has three lenses of its own on the rear, and on paper, the scheme is similar to Apple’s. The primary 12-MP lens is flanked by 12-MP telephoto and 16-MP ultra-wide shooters, the last of which pulls out to a 123-degree field of view. Samsung has an aperture advantage as well; while the iPhone’s main lens is fixed at ƒ/ the Note’s can switch from ƒ/ to ƒ/ depending on the lighting of the New York's Grand Central Station, I found the iPhone's ultra-wide attempt a bit too soft and lacking in contrast compared to the photo as seen through the lens of the Galaxy Note 10 Plus. The Note 10 Plus and standard Note 10 utilize the same lenses, though the Plus model features an extra time-of-flight sensor only utilized for shallow depth-of-field, bokeh-effect Live Focus in Bryant Park, I was much more impressed with what the iPhone 11 Pro churned out. The details in the trees and grass are sharper on Apple's handset, and the company's Smart HDR technology pulls amazing gradients out of the clouds that the Note clearly the primary cameras on both devices, the iPhone again took the lead with a far more delectable, colorful and crisp shot of an M&M cookie. All the nooks and crannies are rendered with striking clarity through the iPhone's optics, while Samsung's phablet over-softens and brightens too many details by of light, Apple’s latest flagship is its first with a dedicated Night Mode, that actually beat out the Pixel 3’s class-leading Night Sight mode when we pitted those two handsets against each other. The Note 10 has a similar feature of its own, also called Night Mode, though it didn’t yield the best results in our camera shootout against Google’s fact, while the Note 10’s optics compare favorably with the iPhone 11 Pro’s on paper, we’re not so sure Samsung’s computational photography capabilities are strong enough to earn the Korean company a leg up on their rivals from Cupertino. The Note 10 and Galaxy S10 use similar camera systems, and both have a tendency to produce images that are a bit too washed out and lacking in contrast. Shallow depth-of-field portraits in particular have been a major weakness for Samsung, whereas Apple practically invented the feature with the iPhone 7 Plus back in iPhone 11 Pro’s cameras will only continue to get better with age. A software update will introduce a new feature called Deep Fusion that blends together nine different exposures and then uses artificial to intelligence to deliver one optimized result, pulling the best-exposed pixels from each has also renewed its focus on video with the iPhone 11 Pro, as all three of the phone’s rear cameras can capture 4K footage at 60 frames per second, complete with cinematic stabilization. Changing from one lens to another while shooting is seamless because the A13 Bionic chip is always optimizing the tone of the cameras you’re not using to match the active can see how much better this makes the iPhone's video in the above side-by-side comparison against the Note 10 Plus. The iPhone 11 Pro might only have half the RAM of the Note's 8GB, but the A13 is so strong, it barely matters. In Geekbench 5, which measures overall performance, the new iPhone turned in a multicore score of 3,509 points, compared to the Note 10's 2,640-point similar story played out in 3DMark's Sling Shot Extreme graphics test, where Apple's device again beat Samsung's, this time by a score of 6,163 to 5, A12 and A11 generations of Apple’s processor were also the fastest of their time, and compared to last year’s CPU, Apple has boosted each of the silicon’s four efficiency cores and two high-speed cores by up to 20%. Mobility News February 01, 2020, 1000 AM EST The CRN Test Center compares the smaller-screened models in the premium smartphone series from Apple and Samsung. Face Off As the battle for smartphone dominance has heated up, one response by top phone makers has been to launch more models. We saw that several years back from Apple, with the expansion to three new iPhones debuting in the fall instead of two. And we seem to see that from Samsung on a continual basis, with the company now offering a huge range of Galaxy phone options for every user niche and price point. At the premium level, the Galaxy Note 10 is among Samsung's key smartphone offerings on the market right now. The Note 10 is now the smaller-screened variant in the Note series, with the Note 10 Plus providing a larger display. In the iPhone realm, Apple launched its iPhone 11 Pro as the smaller-screened model in the premium "Pro" series the iPhone 11 Pro Max sports a larger display. Is the iPhone 11 Pro or the Galaxy Note 10 a better fit for you? What follows is our breakdown on the specs, price and other differences for Apple's iPhone 11 Pro vs Samsung's Galaxy Note 10. Display As mentioned, the two smartphone models in our comparison are the smaller-screened variants in their respective premium phone series. But that doesn't mean they are comparable on their screen size. Apple's iPhone 11 Pro offers a display size of inches, while Samsung's Galaxy Note 10 is about 9 percent larger at inches. Both devices feature vibrant OLED display technology, with the iPhone 11 Pro using Apple's Super Retina XDR display and the Galaxy Note 10 using Samsung's Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display. The iPhone 11 Pro offers higher resolution, however, at 2,436 x 1,125, or 458 pixels per inch ppi. That compares to resolution of 2,280 x 1,080, or 401 ppi, on the Galaxy Note 10. The usable screen space on the Note 10 is greater, though, thanks to the smaller camera cutout on the device compared to the notch on the iPhone 11 Pro. The Note 10 also moves the front-facing camera to the center, to make the device more symmetrical than previous Galaxy releases. Additionally, both the Note 10 and iPhone 11 Pro offer high brightness maximum of 1,200 nits in both cases and support for HDR content. Camera A major change with the iPhone 11 Pro from last year's iPhones is on the rear camera system. The 11 Pro moves up to a triple-camera setup on the rear with an external design that's been described as a "camera square". For the cameras themselves, Apple has introduced an ultra-wide camera to join the wide and telephoto cameras. The ultra-wide camera features a 120-degree field of view for taking expansive shots. All three cameras offer 12 megapixels, while key camera features include portrait lighting; dual optical image stabilization on the wide and telephoto cameras; and night mode. The Galaxy Note 10 also includes three rear cameras-a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera along with 12-megapixel wide-angle and telephoto cameras. The Note 10 adds camera features including "live focus video" for easily blurring backgrounds on videos and "zoom-in mic" for focusing in on the desired audio source. Users also get enhanced video-editing capabilities on the Note10, with the ability to use advanced editing tools more precisely and quickly with the included S Pen stylus. Users can annotate videos using the S Pen, as well. Battery Life And Charging Apple has also announced improved battery life for the iPhone 11 Pro. The device "lasts up to four hours longer" than its predecessor, the iPhone XS. However, Apple has not released specifics on how much battery life you can expect to get with the iPhone 11 Pro. The iPhone XS had promised up to 12 hours of internet use. Samsung hasn't provided a battery life estimate for the Galaxy Note 10, either. But the inclusion of a 3,500 mAh battery on the Note 10 suggests it might provide longer usage than the iPhone 11 Pro, which reportedly offers a 3,046 mAh battery. Meanwhile, AI technologies deployed in the Note 10 are capable of learning how users consume battery life and providing adjustments, such as automatically closing a power-hungry app when it's no longer in use. Additionally, both the iPhone 11 Pro and Galaxy Note 10 offer the ability to charge wirelessly with a Qi charging pad, along with fast-charging capabilities. Processor And RAM The iPhone 11 Pro is powered by Apple's latest generation of processor, the A13 Bionic. The six-core CPU in the A13 Bionic includes two high-performance cores offering up to 20 percent faster CPU and GPU than the A12 Bionic, along with four low-power cores featuring up to 40 percent improved energy efficiency over the A12. Apple is calling the A13 Bionic "the fastest chip ever in a smartphone." Additionally, the A13 Bionic is outfitted with enhanced capabilities for enabling machine learning, with new machine-learning accelerators that let the CPU "deliver more than 1 trillion operations per second," Apple said. As a productivity-oriented device, the Note 10 also gets a substantial boost on performance. The Note 10 is outfitted with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, an eight-core processor. The chip enables CPU performance gains of 33 percent and 42-percent faster GPU over the Note 9, Samsung said. The company says it's ultimately helping to enable "PC-level performance" with the inclusion of 8 GB of RAM on the Galaxy Note 10 which is reportedly double the 4 GB of RAM in the iPhone 11 Pro. Benchmarks suggest the A13 Bionic wins out on speed tests over the Snapdragon 855, however. Storage The Galaxy Note 10 offers just a single configuration for internal storage, at 256 GB. The Note 10 does not not offer microSD for expanded storage, either unlike many other Galaxy devices. Buyers of the iPhone 11 Pro have more choices, with Apple offering options for 64 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB of internal storage. Stylus And of course, the Galaxy Note 10 is the only device to come with an included stylus in our comparison. For the S Pen stylus, which is housed inside the Note 10, Samsung has retooled the design to make it more durable. Several new S Pen capabilities are part of the Note 10, as well. The Note 10 supports "air actions" for the S Pen, meaning that users no longer need to touch the display to perform certain functions in apps such as the camera, gallery and music/video libraries. In the camera, for instance, there are six "air actions" to start swiping left or right in the air will change the camera mode; swiping up or down will switch the camera between the rear- and front-facing sensors; and rotating clockwise or counterclockwise will zoom in or zoom out. Samsung has specified that users don't need to be pointing right at the display to get the "air actions" to work, though users do need to hold down the side button. Other Special Features A key differentiator of Samsung Galaxy devices for business users is DeX, which lets users pull up an Android desktop on compatible screens just by plugging in their device. With the Note 10, Samsung has made DeX far more usable. Now, users can pull up their DeX desktop on a PC Windows 10 or Windows 7-or even a Mac-by plugging into the computer using an included USB-C to USB-C cable. That way, users have the option to access a keyboard or mouse in situations where they need one-potentially allowing them to do without the need for a laptop. Users have the ability to move files back and forth, and can use DeX in full screen mode on the PC or Mac. Additionally, apart from DeX, the "Link to Windows" feature-which enables a phone's messaging and notifications to appear on a Windows 10 PC-has been integrated directly into the Quick Panel for users to more easily connect their Note 10 to their PC. Price Apple's iPhone 11 Pro doesn't see a change in starting pricing from the previous generation of OLED iPhones. The iPhone 11 Pro features a starting price of $999, the same as the original starting pricing for the iPhone XS. By comparison, Samsung's starting price for an unlocked model of the Galaxy Note 10 is $50 lower at $ It's also worth mentioning that the iPhone 11 Pro outfitted with 256 GB of internal storage-the same amount that's in the Galaxy Note 10-will cost another $150, for a total price of $1,149 or $200 above the Galaxy Note 10 price.
